Hurricane Falls is Tallulah Gorge’s most photographed waterfall, accessible from a suspension bridge and via a strenuous gorge-floor trail. A Georgia State Parks ParkPass ($5 daily) is required, plus a free gorge-floor permit (limited to 100 per day). Dogs are strictly prohibited on the Hurricane Falls staircase, and swimming is only permitted seasonally at a designated Sand Beach area, not at the falls. Gorge-floor access can close for weather, water releases, or extreme heat.
