Sol Duc Falls is an easy waterfall hike accessed from the scenic Sol Duc Valley in Olympic National Park. The trail offers a straightforward walk through temperate rainforest to the falls, suitable for most fitness levels.
Dogs are not permitted on Olympic National Park trails, so plan accordingly if traveling with pets. NPS notes cliff hazards present along the route, so stay on the established trail and maintain awareness of your surroundings. The Sol Duc area was temporarily closed in 2025 for search-and-rescue operations but is now fully open. An Olympic National Park entrance fee is required.
