Our take

Nawadaha Falls is another waterfall in the Presque Isle Scenic Area of Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park. Like other falls in this area, it represents part of the scenic river corridor’s collection of water features.

No official height or distance metrics are published on the state park page. The focus here is the wilderness setting and the Presque Isle River’s natural character rather than specific waterfall statistics.

Access depends on the season: the primary route via South Boundary Road and M-107 closes from December 1 through late spring. However, County Road 519 just east of Wakefield provides year-round access to the Presque Isle area. A Michigan Recreation Passport is required for vehicle entry. Dogs are welcome in the park.
