Kaymoor Mine Falls is a short, easy hike in New River Gorge National Park, 0.1 mile one-way from the trailhead (0.2 miles round trip). The waterfall is formed by mine drainage and may be more visibly flowing during autumn and winter when surrounding foliage has dropped.
Dogs are allowed on-leash, and there is no entrance fee. The trail is not wheelchair accessible. Importantly, while a separate upper trail segment (Kaymoor Miners Trail) is closed Monday through Thursday from mid-June to mid-November for rehabilitation work, the main falls remains accessible year-round via the Kaymoor Trail from Fayette Station Road.
This brief hike makes it ideal for visitors with limited time or energy, though the mine-drainage nature means visibility is seasonal. Check for current conditions before visiting to confirm accessibility via the main trailhead.

NOT wheelchair accessible; the trail is explicitly marked as requiring hiking.
The upper Kaymoor Miners Trail is closed Mon-Thu, June 15-Nov 19 for rehabilitation; however, the main falls remains reachable via an open route.
