Dingmans Falls Trail is one of the most accessible waterfall experiences in Pennsylvania. The boardwalk path is level, paved, and fully accessible for wheelchairs or mobility devices, looping just over half a mile through scenic woodland. The route passes two named waterfalls: Silverthread Falls and then the taller Dingmans Falls itself.
No dogs are allowed on the trail or at the visitor center, and swimming or wading in the creek is prohibited. The visitor center operates seasonally during summer months and offers interpretive information about the area’s geology and ecology.
This is an excellent choice for visitors who need barrier-free access, families with strollers, or anyone seeking an unchallenging waterfall experience. There is no entrance fee, and parking is available adjacent to the trail.
Late spring through early fall when water flow is robust and the visitor center is open; summer brings peak crowds.
